Last updated: 31 March 2026
1. About Sherwood
Sherwood ("we", "us", "our") provides informational tools, calculators, educational content, and account-management software for Australian sports bettors.
Sherwood is not a gambling service, bookmaker, or wagering operator. We do not accept, facilitate, or place bets on behalf of any user. We do not hold a wagering licence and do not provide gambling services within the meaning of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) or the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Sherwood. By accessing or using our services you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that your use of the service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
3. Nature of the service
All information, calculations, scores, alerts, and recommendations provided by Sherwood are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, gambling advice, or a recommendation to place any wager.
Odds data displayed on Sherwood is sourced from publicly available information and third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that any odds, prices, or calculations are complete, current, or error-free.
You are solely responsible for any betting decisions you make. Sherwood accepts no liability for losses arising from your use of information provided on the platform.
4. Accounts and subscriptions
Free features (calculators, educational content, the account-health quiz) may be accessed without registration. Paid features require an account and an active subscription.
You may create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with Google ("Sign in with Google"). When you authenticate via Google OAuth, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with Sherwood. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis via Stripe. All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Subscriptions automatically renew at the start of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the next billing date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date. Consistent with Australian Consumer Law for digital subscriptions, no refunds are provided for partial or unused billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice via email or a notice on the platform before the new price takes effect.
